Moving Forward.
Life has been a crazy back-road of twists and turns, lately. Almost all in a positive light, so who am I to complain.
I'm working at a great part-time job, with co-workers that are fantastic. My friends and family are all in good health and spirits. Many of my friends are achieving both professional and personal goals, including successful top surgeries! The birds are chirping and the sun is shining.
Possibly one of the largest current highlights, is my attainment of my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from my soon to be Alma Mater, UMKC! Walking across the commencement stage, eight days from now, with my friends and family cheering from the audience will be high on the list of the proudest moments of my life thus far.
On the transition front, I am officially just over one year and four months into my hormone therapy. I am currently in the process setting up two surgical procedures (top surgery and complete hysterectomy) for late July, early August. The surgeries will be performed by Dr. Sukit of Thailand's Yanhee Hospital. This, as with all of my major transition related milestones, is going to be a life journey like no other.
I am fortunate enough to have amazing family and friends that will be there every step of the way to support me emotionally and...probably physically in some instances. Haha.
Financial support is what I am currently in the most need of, as are many others in my position. As I have stated before, every penny counts and your support is appreciated more than I could ever express.
Hope all is well with you and yours!
